I've been advised against ordering eyeglass lenses because they need to be fitted for your eye. I thought ordering a frame online would be safe, but the drawbacks of this particular web shop are 1) cannot try on multiple frames 2) all frames are not in stock nor available within several weeks and 3) company charges a 15% restocking fee. Not worth the effort.

I paid $217 for glasses. I tried to cancel them because it took them longer to ship to me than they said it would. They told me there would be a 15% restocking fee if I cancelled before shipment. I figured I would wait. They did not fit. I returned them and now had to pay 85% still. That's right. I returned $217 glasses and got a $33 refund. Rip off.

113.95$ pair of sunglasses arrived crooked and with lots of small scratches on them. Cleansing needle was also missing inside the sunglasses case.

They don't admit the product was sent this way, they dont take responsibility, they don't apologize. In conversation with them, they insist that the opposite is true, which leaves you no choice but to insist getting your money back.

After all this trouble, the shipping costs you spent to return the defective product, and the time spent on this issue, they shamefully charge you for the amount of 15% of your total purchase (And ignore the fact you paid shipping costs to return the defective product back to them). Disgrace.

As soon as I saw that PayPal do not cooperate with them, I knew something is strange about it. Not wisely, I made the purchase anyway, and I very much regret it.

PayPal would not let such an unfair thing happen and I would have gotten all my money back without a doubt.

The appearance of the site looks reliable and professional enough but do not let it fool you!

This company is unreliable and will take your money unjustly. Beware and stay away!

Hidden Return Fees

Go-Optic's website makes it seem like an easy transaction to return an item within 30 days. However, it's not until you click on a couple links you find that your return "may" be subject to a restocking fee, which is hidden deep within the "CANCELLATION POLICY". I bought 2 frames that did not fit my face and requested a return authorization for them within a week. I returned everything in the same condition as I had received them and, in my refund, I discovered I was charged a $12.89 restocking fee for each frame. Had this information been visible upfront, along with all the stated benefits of ordering from Go-Optic's, I would not have ordered them. Going forward, there are several other reputable eyeglass companies and I will look elsewhere for satisfactory service.

Never shipped item

The seller never shipped my frames, even though I paid for expedited shipping. There was no tracking info and they refused to send another pair. They do not answer their customer service number so I had to call the sales extension. Avoid

Placed order for frames only. indicted they were in stock. was not going to be delivered for 2 weeks. paid for extra shipping. Canceled order before Go-Optic even received the frames. they charged restocking fee when their site says if back ordered not restocking fee. Buyer beware. Believe they are not located in US. Never answer phone or on chat.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced!

I ordered a pair of Kaenon sunglasses on May 29th. Per the website, orders are processed in 1-5 business days if not back ordered or special order. This brand is not listed as either, so I assumed that with expedited shipping, I would have them in 7-10 days. After a week, I reached out because the order still showed processing. The customer service rep emailed me back ( GOOD LUCK GETTING A CALL), stating that they would ship on the 11th. Today is the 12th of June and customer service is trying to say they will ship next Thursday! That's 3 weeks to even get an order processed! When I asked about canceling the order, they claimed that I agreed to the terms upon ordering and a 10% cancellation fee would be applied if I did so. Reminder that they are still not holding up to their end of the agreement but still want to screw you out of 10%. If ANYWHERE they stated that it would be a month plus to get sunglasses, I wouldn't have so much as given a second thought to ordering online. This company is a complete fraud and the exact reason that companies are falling daily to the superior communication and customer service from Amazon.

Lost $400--Fed Ex lost package but GoOptic had shipped with no stated value

The shipping for this company was very slow, so I did not know when to expect its FedEx Ground package. It appears to have been mis-delivered about 2 weeks after I ordered, and the package with 4 pairs of frames costing over $400 never turned up. The company was not interested in helping or making good on this loss, and although they filed a claim with FedEx, Fed Ex denied it; when I approached FedEx from my end, FedEx said was no way to recover because the shipper had sent the package without any estimated value--a very poor business practice. So I was out $400 and with no glasses-- recommend staying away from this company.

Firs time ever to complain online about a shady company

Ordered frames and paid express delivery. The order took two weeks to be shipped. I received the wrong size. After returning the frames, it took ten days for the company to respond to my request for a refund. After this, I was refunded 50% of what I paid. It took me 5 minutes to realize this was not the right size and packed the frames in the same box they came. Upon requesting an itemized explanation of why I was being refunded only 50%, the company also explained this was store credit. Now I am fighting to get my money back since I have not intentions to do any supposedly business with this company. I guess I should have looked into their reviews online. A company with 1.5 stars with a denominator of at least 30 people should raise suspicion on their business model. If you don't ask for your refund to be sent back to your credit card, they won't tell you that it will be sitting in their account as "credit store" for 60 days. Therefore, you might not get anything back at all.

First they had my money for 6 weeks and did not send eyeglass frames. I kept contacting them and they did not communicate with me. When the frames finally arrived they were black and transparent. They were advertised as black and white. I sent them back and again no communication. Contacted them 4 times before return was processed. Return was a 35.00 dollars short of what I paid for the frames. Do not buy from this company

I did not receive the prescription lenses I paid for. Even after explaining their mistake they refuse to make it right. I find their business to be extremely deceptive and their customer service severely lacking. I would say the customer service was HORRIBLE! Manager/supervisor Jeremiah was condescending and completely rude. I paid nearly $300 for glasses that were not even correct! BBB rating F DESEPTIVE AT BEST! THEY wrote: “NOTICE: The lenses added to your sunglasses will not be tinted unless you selected a pre-tinted lens or add custom color tinting”. I DID select a “pre-tinted lens”. The price difference between Wiley X WX OMEGA Sunglasses, there are 3 choices. 1. ACOME01 Matte Black/Grey Lens, Color $80 2. ACOME07 Matte Black/Pol Emerald Mirror Lens, Color $130.00 3. ACOME12 Kryptek Neptune/ Emerald Mirror Polarized Lens, Size $139.95 The price difference between the Grey Lens and the Emerald Mirror Lens is $50. I DID pay extra for the “pre-tinted lens”. I’m asking again if you will make this right and provide me with what I paid for. By the way, the Emerald Mirror Polarized Lens that were supposedly taken out and shipped with my order were not in the box.

Cancelled Order

I spent at least 2 hours on their site looking at frames and lenses. I registered an account with them and ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses and a regular pair of glasses. I sent them my prescription and they failed to fill and cancelled both my orders. They cancelled because they no longer carry the frames. They were not unique or expensive frames that I ordered. They were from Adidas. Don't waste your time or energy on this site. They don't carry what they advertise. It was the time wasted and the fact that my credit card was charged for both items including lenses and a credit refund to occur later.

I just received my glasses, well within the estimated delivery time, and I love my glasses!! The optician helped me choose the correct progressive lenses and they're much better than the ones I tried a few years ago. Absolutely love the Takumi frames! I ordered my first pair of prescription sunglasses from them, so I knew nothing about the process of ordering glasses online. I was able to navigate easily through their website to find frames according to my face shape. Once I found my frames, I was able to select the option for them to call my eye doctor for accurate prescription information, which loved and really appreciate since that is important information, I'd hate to mess up! Once I completed my order I was able to track my order status to see that my order had been received, verified by my doctor, processing and finally, shipped! First Class USPS shipping was free since I had spent more than $89, and I had my glasses within 10 days of placing the order. They arrived well packaged, with the original Armani Exchange case, Certificate of Authenticity, cleaning cloth, and original lenses. Also, in the box was a Go-Optic cleaning cloth which was great because the manufacturer's was a bit small and thin. The sunglasses are beautiful and the first day wearing them I got lots of compliments and questions about where I got them. Very happy with my purchase and overall experience with Go-Optic.
